Executive Chef Laszlo Gyorki is the driving force behind the one-of-a-kind restaurant come school come retail outlet that is Class.
Laszlo arrived in Beijing prior to the Olympics to establish himself here as one of the city's top chefs and brings with him over 20 years of experience working in some of the world's best restaurants such as Le Gavroche and Sequoia Grill in Vancouver, Canada. Originally trained in Milan and Sardinia he has worked throughout Europe and also North America and this influence is truly reflected in Class' unique menu designs, classes, events and catering options. Laszlo is a breath of fresh air for Beijing diners and allows them to try European style food the way it was mean't to be cooked and at very affordable prices.
In addition Adam Fenwick the resident Sommelier, Mixologist and Operations Director also brings a large variety of skills to Class' table including over five years management experience working for the largest retail liqour outlet in Australia. With a strong passion for wine and cocktail preparation you can be assurred that all of Class' beverage lists have been stringently checked to be both affordable but also interesting for the consumer. Adam has lived in Beijing for two years and is also responsible for the training of all the staff to Western restaurant standards.
